YORK — Derek Neal hit two doubles and drove in five runs Wednesday to lead York to an 11-4 victory against Kennebunk in a Western Maine Conference baseball game.

The Wildcats (2-1) used a seven-run third inning to put away Kennebunk (2-2).

Forrest Kelley added two hits and two RBI for York.

TRAIP ACADEMY 17, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 2: Henry Driscoll drove in four runs with a pair of doubles to lead Traip Academy (2-1) to a five-inning win over the Seagulls (1-2) at Old Orchard Beach.

The Rangers broke the game open with nine runs in the fifth inning, when every player in the lineup scored. Alex Foye’s RBI single gave Traip the 10-run margin it needed to end the game early.

Josh Schneier pitched all five innings for Traip with six strikeouts, six hits and three walks.

YARMOUTH 7, FREEPORT 2: Luke Klenda and Cody Cook had two hits apiece and combined on a two-hitter to lead the Clippers (2-1) past the Falcons (1-1) at Yarmouth.

Klenda struck out 10 in six innings, allowing two unearned runs with a hit and a walk.

Cook, who pitched the seventh, had a double and a triple, scored two runs and drove in one.

CAPE ELIZABETH 9, FALMOUTH 6: The Capers (3-1) rallied for six runs in the seventh inning to overcome the Yachtsmen (1-1) at Falmouth.

Aaron Dobieski, who had three hits, hit a two-run single, and Matthew Denison squeezed in the go-ahead run in the seventh for the Capers. Denison finished with two hits.

Connor Aube drove in two runs and Tyler Gee doubled for Falmouth.

OCEANSIDE 9, ERSKINE ACADEMY 1: The Mariners (2-2) scored four runs in the first inning and handled the Eagles (1-2) at Rockland.

The first inning featured RBI singles from Nick Mazurek and Thomas Curtis.

Zach Peaco lined a two-run double in the fifth as Oceanside broke the game open with five more runs.

Ryan Rodrigue had a double for Erskine.

GREELY 8, LAKE REGION 5: Will Bryant and Austin Nowinski each had an RBI single, and Justin Leeman lined a two-run single as the Rangers (3-0) used a four-run third inning to pull away from the Lakers (0-3) at Naples.

Jordan Merrifield picked up the victory with 32/3 innings of relief, retiring all 11 batters he faced, striking out six.

Nowinski made a spectacular catch down the left-field line to squash a late Lake Region rally.

Gunnar Harriman had a pair of singles for the Lakers, and Adam Butler and Jordan Williams each had a double.

MEDOMAK VALLEY 7, LINCOLN ACADEMY 6: Micah Williamson went 2 for 3 with a pair of walks, three runs and three steals for the Panthers (2-2), who held off a late charge by the Eagles (2-2) at Newcastle.

Medomak Valley scored three in the third inning to take the lead, featuring a home run by Bryce Collamore, and Jackson Vail and Ben Turner scored on a passed ball.

Lincoln Academy came up just short, with the game ending on an infield fly with the bases loaded.

Sawyer Pinkham led Lincoln Academy with three singles.

SACOPEE VALLEY 14, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 4: Kyle Jordan had a pair of singles and drove in three runs as the Hawks (3-0) handled the Panthers (0-3) in a six-inning game at South Hiram.

Brady Anderson, the winner in relief, had a single, four RBI and three runs.

Brad Rockey led NYA with a single and a double.

WELLS 15, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 5: Charlie Bell pitched a two-hitter to help Wells (2-1) in a six-inning win over the Raiders (0-3) at Fryeburg.

Bell walked seven and struck out seven.

Bell and Cody Cousins both drove in three runs for the Warriors.

WESTBROOK 18, BIDDEFORD 4: Curtis Knapton had four goals and five assists to lead the Blue Blazes (3-0) past Biddeford (2-1) at Westbrook.
