WELLS — Ben Lary pitched a one-hitter Wednesday to lead Kennebunk to a 6-0 victory against Wells in a Western Maine Conference baseball game.

Justin Wiggins led the Rams (5-2) with a pair of hits, an RBI and two runs against the Warriors (4-2).

CAPE ELIZABETH 8, FREEPORT 1: Dylan Roberts had a double, and Nate Ingalls and Tim Brigham added two singles each to lead the Capers (3-2) past the Falcons (1-4) at Cape Elizabeth.

YORK 11, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 1: Trevor LaBonte, Derek Neal and Cole Merritt lined RBI doubles as the Wildcats (5-1) broke a 1-1 tie with seven runs in the second and beat Fryeburg Academy (0-6) in six innings at York.

Merritt finished with two hits and three RBI.

FALMOUTH 3, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 2: Cam Guarino struck out 10 in a one-hitter to led the Yachtsmen (4-1) over Gray-New Gloucester (3-3) at Falmouth.

The Patriots’ hit was a two-run homer by Thomas Wood in the fourth inning to make it 2-2. The Yachtsmen won it on a wild pitch in the seventh.

POLAND 6, LAKE REGION 5: Ethan Caillier picked up the win, going 41/3 innings in relief, allowing two runs on seven hits, striking out six and walking two as the Knights (2-6) edged the Lakers (1-4) at Poland.

Poland scored three runs in the sixth inning to come from behind.

Jordan Williams led Lake Region, going 4 for 4 with a homer and a pair of doubles, four RBI and three runs.

SACOPEE VALLEY 14, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 9: Dana Shea drove home three runs and Inez Day scored three times to lead Sacopee Valley (4-1) over the Seagulls (3-3) at Old Orchard Beach.

Michael Pingree had an RBI double and scored for the Hawks, whose 10-1 lead dwindled to 10-8 before a four-run sixth inning put it away.

TRAIP ACADEMY 13, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 3: Henry Driscoll had three singles as the Rangers (4-1) downed the Panthers (0-6) at Kittery.

Josh Schneier got the win, surrendering a pair of singles in five innings, allowing no earned runs, striking out two and walking none.

Charlie Pelkey, Colin Macomber and Daniel Tokarz each had two of Traip’s 14 hits.

Joey Hogan had a pair of singles for NYA.

GREELY 11, YARMOUTH 2: Calvin Soule hit a three-run homer in the first inning as the Rangers (5-1) jumped to a 4-0 lead and defeated the Clippers (4-2) at Yarmouth.

Greely added a pair of runs in the second and five in the fourth.

Will Bryant and Miles Shields each had a pair of singles for the Rangers.

Cody Cook doubled for Yarmouth.

OAK HILL 15, MT. ABRAM 1: Dalton Therrien and Jake Bannister each drove in four runs to lead the Raiders (3-3) over Mt. Abram (1-5) at Wales.

Kaleb Morrissette earned the win and helped his cause with two RBI.

Mt. Abram pitchers walked 10 hitters. Chris Howard drove in the Roadrunners’ run.

MADISON 17, BOOTHBAY REGION 0: Jack Money pitched a perfect game as Madison (3-3) defeated the Seahawks (0-6) in five innings at Boothbay Harbor.

Mooney finished the game with eight strikeouts.

Chase Malloy hit a pair of doubles and drove in four runs for Madison.

LACROSSE

SOUTH PORTLAND 17, WESTBROOK 5: Evan Babbidge and Jack Fiorini both scored four goals to lead the Red Riots (4-0) over Westbrook (3-1) at South Portland.

Andrew Whipple had two goals and five assists for the Red Riots, who led 10-1 at halftime.

YARMOUTH 15, LAKE REGION 0: Bill Jacobs and Anders Newberg scored four goals each as Yarmouth (3-1) defeated the Lakers (0-4) at Naples.

Joe Oliva added three goals for the Clippers.

SCARBOROUGH 16, DEERING 10: Sam Neugebauer scored four times for Scarborough (3-2) against the Rams (1-3) at Portland.

Cam Nigro and Braeden Kane added three goals each. Brent Rickett notched three goals and three assists for Deering, and Andrew Johnson had two goals and an assist.
