Merritt Ryan led Portland (2-3)with six goals against the Stags (3-2).
THORNTON ACADEMY 8, BONNY EAGLE 5: Faith Sinclair had three goals and an assist as the Golden Trojans (2-3) defeated the Scots (1-4) at Saco.
Thornton Academy took a 6-2 halftime lead with six players scoring.
Desiree Wright scored twice for Bonny Eagle.
Allie Spinney made six saves for the Trojans.
MASSABESIC 19, DEERING 1: Maquila Dimastrantonio had six goals and three assists, and Delia Sylvain contributed four goals and two assists as the Mustangs (4-1) downed Deering (1-3) at Waterboro.
MARSHWOOD 16, WINDHAM 6: Lindsey Poirier had six goals and two assists to power the Hawks (4-2) past the Eagles (3-2) at South Berwick.
Korinne Bohunsky added four goals and an assist, and Hannah Costin had three goals and one assist for Marshwood. Emily Kahler made 14 saves.
Luisa Sbardella scored four goals for Windham.
MORSE 11, WINSLOW 7: Madison Olsen scored four goals, and Sophie Sreden had three goals and two assists to pace the Shipbuilders (3-2) past the Black Raiders (3-2) at Winslow.
Amanda Gagne added a goal and two assists, and Cat Sener made 12 saves for Morse.
Cassidy Roderick scored three goals for Winslow.
GARDINER 18, LINCOLN ACADEMY 7: Kelsi Thibeau scored five goals and Evie Hinkley added three to lead the Tigers (2-3) over the Eagles (1-4) at Gardiner.
Nickyia Lovely, Maddy Beaulieu, Bryce Smith and Hailee Lovely each scored two goals for Gardiner.
SOFTBALL
BIDDEFORD 14, WINDHAM 5: The Tigers (7-1) used a five-run fourth inning to break open a close game and roll past the Eagles (6-2) at Biddeford.
Brook Davis, Jocelyn Moody and Charlotte White each had RBI singles in the fourth.
Erin Martin went 3 for 3 with four runs for Biddeford, and Kirsten Lebreux was 3 for 5 with an RBI and a pair of runs.
Olivia Mora had a solo homer and Lauren Talbot added a pair of singles for Windham.
Lebreux gave up five runs on seven hits, striking out seven.
BANGOR 12, MT. BLUE 0: The Rams (8-1) scored seven runs in the first inning and beat Mt. Blue (3-5) at Bangor.
MONDAY’S SOFTBALL
YARMOUTH 12, LAKE REGION 8: Cate Ralph belted a two-run triple in the first inning and added a two-run double in the fourth as Yarmouth (7-1) outdistanced Lake Region (3-5) at Naples.
SCARBOROUGH 16, MASSABESIC 3: Kaleigh Scoville was 4 for 4 with a home run and four RBI, Maggie Murphy added a three-run homer and the Red Storm (7-0) used a late surge to beat the Mustangs (4-5) in six innings at Waterboro.
