An Androscoggin County man who state police say had child pornography on his computer was arrested Wednesday at his home in Greene.

Joshua Chretien, 25, was charged with possession of sexually explicit material of someone under the age of 12.

Chretien was taken to the Androscoggin County Jail in Auburn and posted bail, according to Stephen McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety.

Chretien works at a Lewiston convenience store and lives in Greene with his mother and his young son, McCausland said.
