YORK — Kyra Schwartzman and Jenny Bush each had three goals and an assist Thursday night to lead Kennebunk to a 10-5 victory against York in a schoolgirl lacrosse game.

Carly Sandler added two goals and one assist, and Bella Kudas made 10 saves for the Rams (9-0).

Amanda Lillie and Allie Lawlor each had two goals for York (6-2).

GOULD ACADEMY 16, WELLS 6: Megan Detels scored four goals to lead the Huskies (5-5) over the Warriors (1-8) at Wells.

Shannon McGuire, Julia Getman and Brooke Kelly each added three goals for Gould. Holly Robinson scored twice for Wells.

YARMOUTH 11, GREELY 10: After Shannon Fallon’s fourth goal broke a tie, Cory Langenbach extended the lead to 11-9 and the Clippers (5-4) held off Greely (3-5) at Yarmouth.

Emma Torres finished with three goals and two assists, and Eliza Lunt added two goals for Yarmouth.

Maegen Dougherty scored four goals and Courtney Sullivan added two for the Rangers.

MARSHWOOD 14, CHEVERUS 2: Lindsey Poirier had six goals and three assists to lead the Hawks (7-2) against Cheverus (3-5) at Portland.

Korinne Bohunsky added three goals, Hannah Costin and Reagan Nichols had two each, and Claudia Folger also scored for Marshwood. Anne Veroneau scored for the Stags and also assisted on Allie Scott’s goal.

FREEPORT 18, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 9: Courtney Broderick scored seven goals and assisted on an eighth to lead the Falcons (4-4) past NYA (1-8) at Freeport.

Lizzie Martin added four goals for Freeport. Rachel Hooker led the Panthers with four.

MT. ARARAT 16, BRUNSWICK 4: Emily Welch notched five goals and Katie Labbay four as Mt. Ararat (8-1) beat the Dragons (3-6) at Brunswick.

Alison Nolan added two goals for the Eagles. Rebecca Bailey and Anna McMillan each scored twice for Brunswick.

SOUTH PORTLAND 16, SANFORD 7: Mary Cronin and Maddie Hasson had five goals each, and Lily SanGiovanni stopped 13 shots as the Red Riots (6-3) defeated the Spartans (5-4) at South Portland.

Abby Letourneau added three goals and four assists while Colleen Fleming scored twice, and Maddie Cyr finished with a goal and an assist for the Red Riots.

Brenna Lambert and Monica Trausch had three goals, Maddie Leigh also scored and Eva Belanger made 14 saves for Sanford.

SCARBOROUGH 10, MASSABESIC 9: Abby Corbin scored with 10 seconds left in overtime to help the Red Storm (5-4) edge the Mustangs (7-2) at Waterboro.

Corbin finished with three goals, and Kaitlin Prince had four goals and an assist for Scarborough.

Karlie Pike led Massabesic with three goals.

BOYS’ LACROSSE

SCARBOROUGH 20, MARSHWOOD 3: Braeden Kane scored four times, and Marco Manfra had three goals and four assists to lead the Red Storm (6-3) over Marshwood (1-9) at Scarborough.

Sam Nygren also scored three times for Scarborough. Grayson St. Pierre had two goals for the Hawks.

YORK 12, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 0: Stephanie Rundlett pitched a no-hitter, striking out 14 of 15 batters as the Wildcats (12-0) handled the Seagulls (0-9) in five innings at York.

Kendall Carr hit a three-run homer. Carr, Rundlett, Kiley Blondin and Sophia Stephens had two hits each for York, which ended the game a four-run fifth inning.

BASEBALL

THORNTON ACADEMY 5, BIDDEFORD 0: Ben Lambert pitched a four-hitter with nine strikeouts to lead the Golden Trojans (9-3) over the Tigers (3-9) at Saco.

Justin Cloutier and Brandon Hall hit RBI singles, and Lambert and Mitchell Jacques doubled for Thornton.

Kerry Crepeau had two hits for the Tigers.

CHEVERUS 10, DEERING 5: Jensen Lapoint doubled home Logan McCarthy and scored on Chris Vallee’s single as Cheverus (8-3) scored twice in the fourth inning to take a 6-5 lead against the visiting Rams (7-5) at Portland.

Jared Brooks stroked a two-run single as the Stags added four in the fifth inning.

Brooks and Lapoint each finished with three hits and three RBI.

WINDHAM 2, SCARBOROUGH 0: Mike Gilman pitched a two-hitter as the Eagles (4-7) downed the Red Storm (6-5) at Windham.

Gilman struck out five and walked two. Mitchell Wedge struck out five, walked one and allowed five hits for Scarborough.

The Eagles got a run in the first inning when Gilman scored on a groundout by Tanner Laberge. Dylan Koza scored in the fourth after stealing third and continuing home on a wild pitch.

BONNY EAGLE 4, MARSHWOOD 2: Dana McKay pitched a five-hitter with three strikeouts, and also had two hits and an RBI as the Scots (8-4) downed the Hawks (8-3) at Standish.

The Scots went ahead 4-0 with a three-run second inning. Lane Poirier hit a two-run single, stole second and came home on a double by McKay.
