An outdoor Mass celebrated by Bishop Robert P. Deeley will begin at 9 a.m. Monday at the Saint Dominic/Armed Forces section at Calvary Cemetery, 1461 Broadway, South Portland. Rain location is at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 150 Black Point Road, Scarborough.

Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery, Smith Street, Yarmouth. Attendees should bring lawn chairs. Rain location is at Sacred Heart Church, 326 Main St., Yarmouth.

Mass, celebrated by Monsignor Marc Caron, 10 a.m., at the Mausoleum Chapel at St. Peter’s Cemetery, 217 Switzerland Road, Lewiston.

First Congregational Church of Fryeburg at 132 Main St., has begun a capital campaign to raise funds to save the church steeple. The 165-year-old steeple has not had repairs in 50 years and is in need of major structural restoration that will cost $180,000, including roof structure repairs. Father Emile H. Dubé has been appointed pastor at Our Lady of the Snows Parish (St. Anne Church, Dexter; St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Dover-Foxcroft; Sts. Francis Xavier & Paul the Apostle Church, Milo) and St. Agnes Parish in Pittsfield. A native of Lewiston, Dubé was ordained to the priesthood in Lewiston by Bishop Richard J. Malone in 2012. He has served at several parishes statewide and was a brother in the Catholic religious order of the Salesians of St. John Bosco in New York for 35 years.

Father Paul R. Marquis has been appointed half-time parochial vicar at St. Michael Parish for churches in the Augusta/Gardiner area. He will remain a half-time hospital chaplain at Maine General Hospital in Augusta and will continue to celebrate Mass at Colby College in Waterville. Marquis was ordained by Bishop Edward C. O’Leary in 1986 at Holy Family Parish in Lewiston and has served at several parishes and hospitals in Maine.
