CUMBERLAND — Emily Johnson scored with 1:52 left in the first overtime Tuesday to lift Freeport to a 14-13 victory against Greely in a schoolgirl lacrosse game.

Courtney Broderick led the Falcons (5-4) with five goals and Johnson finished with four.

Meghan O’Donovan paced Greely (3-6) with five goals.

MARSHWOOD 14, BIDDEFORD 5: Lindsey Poirier had seven goals and one assist, and Hannah Costin added two goals and three assists as the Hawks (8-2) downed the Tigers (6-4) at Biddeford.

Taylor Turgeon led the Tigers with four goals.

CAPE ELIZABETH 14, WELLS 4: Lindsay Stewart and Mariah Deschino scored three goals apiece to lead a balanced offense for the Capers (6-3) against the Warriors (1-9) at Cape Elizabeth.

Kirsten Rudberg and Hannah Bosworth chipped in two goals apiece for the Capers.

Holly Robinson scored twice for the Warriors.

YARMOUTH 8, WAYNFLETE 6: Eliza Lunt scored three goals for the Clippers (6-3), who rallied past the Flyers (6-4) at Portland.

Waynflete led 4-3 at halftime.

Lane Simsarian and Emma Torres each added a pair of goals for Yarmouth.

Christian Rowe led Waynflete with two goals.

Mary Kate Gunville stopped nine shots for the Clippers. Charlotte Majercik had five saves for the Flyers.

YORK 16, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 2: Kara Kelly scored five goals to pace the Wildcats (7-2) over North Yarmouth Academy (1-9) at York.

Allie Lawlor added four goals and an assist, MacKenzie Mallett provided three goals and an assist, and Kayla Kelly scored twice for York.

MASSABESIC 20, SANFORD 3: Maquila Dimastrantonio had six goals and one assist to help Massabesic (8-2) down Sanford (5-5) at Waterboro.

Delia Sylvain added three goals and five assists for the Mustangs. Josie Ring chipped in with three goals and an assist.

Liz Helmreich scored three goals for the Spartans.

BONNY EAGLE 17, WESTBROOK 4: Autumn Brady scored four goals and Catherine Biegel added three to lead the Scots (3-7) past the Blue Blazes (0-10) at Standish.

Westbrook got two goals apiece from Madi Mullet and Abby St. Clair.

LEWISTON 11, MORSE 10: Kristina Blais, who finished with five goals and one assist, scored with 4:30 left as the Blue Devils (8-3) rallied past the Shipbuilders (6-4) at Lewiston.

Sophie Sreden scored four goals for Morse, which led 8-1 with eight minutes left in the first half. Lewiston responded with eight straight goals to take a 9-8 lead in the second half.

SOFTBALL

EDWARD LITTLE 2, MT. BLUE 0: Sarah Hammond struck out 10 in a three-hitter to lift the Red Eddies (10-4) over the Cougars (5-9) at Farmington.

Edward Little scored the go-ahead run on a single by Molly Murray in the second inning. Murray finished with three hits.

MEDOMAK VALLEY 9, MORSE 5: Medomak Valley (5-7) scored five runs in the eighth inning to top Morse (7-5) at Bath.

Medomak took advantage of five walks, an error, a hit batter and two passed balls in the eighth.

Winning pitcher Gabrielle Depatsy struck out nine, walked eight and gave up five hits.

OCEANSIDE 2, LINCOLN ACADEMY 1: Paige Tyler finished with 12 strikeouts in a three-hitter for the Mariners (10-3) against the Eagles (12-1) at Newcastle.

Abby Farin of Lincoln struck out 11 and scattered six hits.

Brianna Dugan and Kalyn Grover had two hits apiece for Oceanside. Miranda Achorn had two hits for Lincoln.

FREEPORT 6, TRAIP ACADEMY 3: The Falcons (1-12) broke a tie with a three-run seventh inning and topped the Rangers (4-9) in a game at Kittery.

Kiara Perez was 4 for 5 for Traip. Marina Kasey added a pair of hits.

GREELY 6, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 3: Elizabeth Shibles had a pair of hits and drove in two runs for the Rangers (10-3), who used a five-run third inning to erase an early 3-0 deficit against the Seagulls (0-11) at Cumberland.

Kelsey Currier of Greely held the Seagulls hitless while striking out 11 and walking two over the final five innings.

BOOTHBAY REGION 18, WISCASSET 4: Mackenzie Abbott went 3 for 4 with three runs and two RBI to lead the Seahawks (3-11) past the Wolverines (1-13) in five innings at Wiscasset.

MT. ABRAM 12, WINTHROP 0: Olivia Ryan pitched a three-hit shutout as Mt. Abram (6-8) defeated Winthrop (2-11) in five innings at Salem.

Ryan walked one and struck out two, and also had three hits.

RICHMOND 11, SEARSPORT 1: Kelsie Obi had a triple and two singles to lead the Bobcats (13-0) over the Vikings (10-3) at Searsport.
