Portland police have released photos of jewelry and clothing, and an artist’s sketch in an effort to identify a woman whose body washed ashore near Fort Allen Park on May 22.

Police said an autopsy led the state medical examiner to conclude the woman’s death was not suspicious, but nobody has reported anyone missing who matches her description.

Police released photographs showing a gold watch, its face surrounded by gemstones, silver-colored hummingbird earrings and a gold ring with two flowers. The clothing includes a bluejean jacket, turquoise jeans and top, light brown hose and white underwear as well as another white top. Police said the woman had no identification.

Police worked with a sketch artist to develop a picture of the woman, who they say had 12-inch-long brown hair in a ponytail. The woman is described as 5-foot-1, 100 pounds, with a 6-inch curved scar on her abdomen from a previous surgery, police said.

The woman has cosmetic tattooed eyebrows, is of Asian ethnicity and believed to be between 30 and 50 years old. The age was difficult to gauge because the body had been in the water for some time.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 874-8575.
