A man suffered non-life threatening injuries Monday when he was thrown from a horse at Scarborough Downs race track, authorities said.
The Scarborough Fire Department responded to the track about 9:53 a.m., and found a man injured, but conscious and alert, said Lt. Bruce Quint.
The man, who was not identified, was transported to Maine Medical Center for evaluation, Quint said.
