There are too many women who are talked into or coerced into getting an abortion. Many of them later realize that getting an abortion was the taking of a life, and they live with the pain and grief of an abortion.

These women need help and compassion, not finger-pointing. There is help available at Project Rachel. Project Rachel is the post-abortion healing ministry of the Catholic Church, but it is open to anyone struggling after an abortion loss.

They have a network of specially trained clergy, spiritual directors and therapists who provide confidential, compassionate one-on-one care.

Project Rachel was founded in 1984 in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee by Vicki Thorm. It is in more than 110 dioceses in the United States.
