Awards and Honors
Maine Innkeepers Education Foundation recently gave the Charlie Keegan Award of $1,000 to Haylee Munson of Cumberland. Munson is a student at the University of Southern Maine in Portland and is studying to be an event planner in the hospitality industry.
Ashley Stockham of Portland received the Ken Brown Award of $500. She is a culinary arts student at Southern Maine Community College in South Portland.
University of Maine: The Deacon Ephraim Flint Scholarship has been awarded to Rachel Anderson, a senior majoring in kinesiology and physical education, and to Gabriella Joy, a junior majoring in elementary education and child development and family relations. Both are from Baldwin. The award will provide $5,141 in assistance to the students.
