The centerpiece of Portland is the statue “Our Lady of Victories” in Monument Square. For many years it has stood where we see it today.
Unfortunately, it is no longer in original condition.
In recent years, two bronze plaques were bolted to the corner of the base facing the library.
So who cares if they stick some stuff on the monument? I do! I want it removed.
