SOUTH PORTLAND — Grace Stacey scored two goals Saturday to propel Portland to a 3-1 victory against South Portland in an SMAA schoolgirl soccer game.

Kate Johnson also scored for the Bulldogs (5-4). Juliana Selser answered for South Portland (4-5).

ERSKINE ACADEMY 2, LINCOLN ACADEMY 0: Kaylee Porter had a goal and an assist to spark Erskine (6-3-1) past Lincoln (7-3) at South China.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 7, WELLS 1: Emily Dawkins and Laurel Thomas scored twice each as the Patriots (5-4-1) beat Wells (2-7) at Gray.

Jaley Martin, Emma Woods and Sarah Giggey also scored for Gray-New Gloucester. Hannah Cottis answered for the Warriors.

Jen Sutherland had two saves for Gray-New Gloucester. Lauren Bartlett finished with nine for Wells.

LAKE REGION 4, POLAND 0: Madison Simms scored twice for the Lakers (3-5) against Poland (1-9) at Naples.

Simms and Kristen Huntress scored in the first half. Lauren Williams from Neva Leavitt and Simms had goals in the second.

Chandler True made four saves for the shutout. Erin Brewer had 10 saves for Poland.

FALMOUTH 1, YARMOUTH 1: Tyler Spence gave Falmouth (4-2-2) a 1-0 lead with 12 minutes left before Katie Clemmer answered 27 seconds later for the Clippers (4-4-1) at Yarmouth.

Marcy Kittredge set up Spence’s goal. Gretchen Barbera assisted on the tying goal.

ERSKINE ACADEMY 6, LINCOLN ACADEMY 1: Luke Peabody and Trevor Hubbard each scored three goals to lift Erskine (7-3) over Lincoln (5-5) at South China.

SOUTH PORTLAND 3, WINDHAM 0: Kervens Anthoine had a goal and an assist as the Red Riots (5-2-2) shut out the Eagles (2-7) at Windham.

Anthoine had an unassisted goal in the first half. Khalid Suja scored on a free kick and Anthoine assisted Charlie Cronin in the second.

Jeffrey Pollard stopped six shots for Windham. Riley Hasson needed one save for the shutout.

POLAND 5, LAKE REGION 1: Patrick Kuklinski scored twice in 1:50 of the second half as the Knights (3-4-1) pulled away from the Lakers (0-9) at Poland.

Elijah Levesque scored from Taylor Davis to give Lake Region the lead with 34:54 remaining in the first half.

CAPE ELIZABETH 3, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 1: Connor Thoreck scored twice as the Capers (5-4-1) downed the Patriots (7-3-1) at Gray.

Nicolai Sabbatini added an unassisted goal for Cape Elizabeth.

Ben Rogers scored for Gray-New Gloucester.

Marshall Peterson had four saves for the Capers. John Henry Villanueva stopped 10 shots for the Patriots.

FIELD HOCKEY

SACOPEE VALLEY 3, WELLS 0: Abbie Mosson had two goals and an assist as the Hawks (8-3) beat Wells (2-8) at South Hiram.

Mosson gave Sacopee a 2-0 halftime lead before setting up Savanna Milo for the final goal. Liz Ouellette also had an assist for the Hawks.

Mckenzie Cormier stopped both shots on goal by Wells. Mary Hebden had five saves for the Warriors.

THORNTON ACADEMY 2, SANFORD 1: Taylor Ouellette scored at 13:11 of the first half from Libby Pomerleau to give the Trojans (9-2) the lead against the Spartans (7-2-1) at Sanford.

Pomerleau added an unassisted goal at the 24:17 of the second half.

Kim Works answered for Sanford just 37 seconds later.

Isabelle Robinson and Grace Decker combined for six saves for Thornton. Amber Singleton stopped four shots for Sanford.
