BIDDEFORD — Jackie Dickerson scored on a breakaway in the 90th minute Tuesday as the University of New England women’s soccer team edged Colby 2-1.

The Mules (3-5-1) had tied it a little more than a minute earlier when Katrina Holt won and finished a ball that was served into the offensive end by Emily Martin.

Jessica Meader made it 1-0 in the 73rd minute when she one-timed a shot from the top of the 6-yard box for her fifth goal of the season.

Brielle Robinson made six saves for the Nor’easters (8-3). Ashley Conley stopped eight shots for Colby.

UM-FARMINGTON 4, SOUTHERN MAINE 1: Ashley Gleason had a goal and an assist early in the match to help the Beavers (3-7-1) defeat the Huskies (3-7) at Gorham. .

ST. JOSEPH’S 1, THOMAS 0: Bailey Cutler scored from Amanda Celata and Hayley Winslow 4:46 into the second half and the Monks (7-4) held off the Terriers (6-6) at Standish.

Megan Baker made one save for the win.

UNIVERSITY OF NEW ENGLAND 8, NICHOLS 0: Nicole Matarozzo had three goals and Becky Zakorchemny added two as the Nor’easters (8-5, 5-1 Commonwealth Coast) handled the Bison (1-9, 0-6) at Biddeford.

Ariana Beauregard and Katherine Cotton combined for 15 saves for the Bison.

BOWDOIN 4, UM-FARMINGTON 0: Kimmy Ganong had two goals to lead the Polar Bears (8-0) over the Beavers (5-3) at Brunswick.

Patty Smith made 16 saves for UMF before being relieved with 12:18 left by Alyssa Arsenault, who stopped all three shots she faced.

MEN’S SOCCER

BOWDOIN 4, SOUTHERN MAINE 0: Hunter Miller scored in the first half, and Jake Stenquist, Colton Hall and Moctar Niang added second-half goals for the Polar Bears (4-2-2) against the Huskies (1-8-1) at Brunswick.

Stevie Van Siclen made one save for the shutout. Simon Hulbert made 12 for the Huskies.

JOHNSON & WALES 1, UNIVERSITY OF NEW ENGLAND 0: Byron Arboleda scored in the 27th minute to give the Wildcats (8-4) a victory over the Nor’easters (2-9) at Biddeford.

Elijah Leverett made seven saves for the Nor’easters.

BATES 1, MAINE MARITIME 0: Drew Munoz’s goal in the 77th minute was enough for the Bobcats (6-2-1) against the visiting Mariners (3-7-1) at Lewiston.

Nate Merchant assisted on the goal.

Sam Polito did not handle a shot in picking up the win. Marshall Spear made nine saves for Maine Maritime.
