WATERBORO — Massabesic came from behind with three unanswered goals Thursday to defeat Westbrook 3-1 in an SMAA field hockey game.

After Alex Phelps scored an unassisted goal at 24:36 of the first half for Westbrook (6-7), Maggie Redman countered from Emma Rutledge three minutes later.

Sophia LaFrance and Josie Ring added second-half goals for the Mustangs (9-3).

Kimmy Goddard stopped 14 shots for the Blue Blazes. Kelley Wescott had seven saves for Massabesic.

YORK 10, WELLS 0: The Wildcats (13-0) received goals from seven players and rolled past the Warriors (3-9) at York.

Lily Posternak scored three goals, Devon Datsis had two, and Ally Jones added a goal and a pair of assists.

Mary Hebden stopped nine shots for Wells, which had one shot on goal.

THORNTON ACADEMY 5, NOBLE 0: Libby Pomerleau had three goals and one assist as Thornton Academy (11-2) shut out Noble (0-13) at North Berwick.

Taylor Ouellette scored the first goal after 3:08 when she converted a pass from Pomerleau, who scored the next three goals, giving Thornton a 4-0 halftime lead.

Emma Dutremble scored the final goal unassisted with 1:29 remaining.

CHEVERUS 3, BIDDEFORD 0: Sophia Pompeo scored an unassisted goal in the first half and Rebecca Archer added two second-half goals, one from Emily Michaud, to lead the Stags (12-2) by the Tigers (4-8) at Portland.

MARSHWOOD 3, WINDHAM 1: Taylor Gilbert, Hannah Costin and Claudia Folger scored for Marshwood (10-2-1) against Windham (2-10) at South Berwick.

Paige LaFreniere answered for the Eagles.

MESSALONSKEE 3, CONY 0: The Eagles (13-0) scored three times in an eight-minute span and defeated Cony (9-4) at Oakland.

Haley Lowell sandwiched a pair of goals around one from Nathalie St. Pierre as the Eagles stormed the Cony end of the field after a scoreless first half. Autumn Littlefield assisted on all three goals.

SKOWHEGAN 2, MT. BLUE 1: Brooke Michonski scored 2:10 into overtime to lift the Indians (12-1) over Mt. Blue (8-4-1) at Skowhegan.

YORK 1, FALMOUTH 0: Payton Humphrey scored on a 30-yard direct kick after seven minutes and the Wildcats (6-2-3) held off Falmouth (5-3-2) at York.

Kelsey Cole made six saves for York. Adelaide Cooke handled 10 shots for Falmouth.

KENNEBUNK 0, YARMOUTH 0: Kyra Schwartzman had 12 saves for Kennebunk (3-5-3) and Meredith Lane made two for the Clippers (4-4-3) at Yarmouth.

LAKE REGION 6, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 2: Kristen Huntress and Kaylyn Jordan scored two goals each to lead the Lakers (5-6) past the Panthers (1-10) at Naples.

Aisley Sturk and Grace Farrington added one goal each for Lake Region.

Isabelle Coleman and Emily Baker scored for NYA.

POLAND 4, WELLS 3: Courtney Cunliffe had a pair of first-half goals as the Knights (2-9) held off the Warriors (2-9) at Wells.

Hannah Cottis, Dani Jarosz and Meghan Schneider scored for Wells.

Erin Brewer stopped eight shots for Poland.

SACOPEE VALLEY 2, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 1: Jordan Miner scored the winning goal with a full volley off a corner kick from Courtney Ryan to help Sacopee Valley (11-0) defeat Fryeburg Academy (7-4) at South Hiram.

The Raiders led 1-0 at halftime on a goal from Kaylin Delaney. Jade Jordan tied early in the second half.

Hannah Manchester and Madison Day had two saves apiece for the Hawks. Makayla Cooper turned away five shots for Fryeburg.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 3, WELLS 1: The Panthers (8-5) won the final three games to come from behind and down the Warriors (2-9) at Wells.

Wells took the first game 26-24 before NYA swept the rest, 25-15, 25-13, 25-15.

Isabelle Smith had 15 digs, an ace and a kill for the Warriors. Halee Ramsdell and Alyssa Loukola combined to add 12 kills.

GREELY 3, GORHAM 0: Greely (9-3) held off Gorham (5-7) with a 30-28 victory in the first set, then took the next two 25-23 at Cumberland.

Kaylee Ciminio paced the Rangers with 14 kills and three assists. Alex Tebbs had three aces, seven kills and 13 digs.

THORNTON ACADEMY 3, CHEVERUS 0: Ashley Howe had nine kills and delivered eight aces as Thornton Academy (9-2) defeated Cheverus (3-7) at Portland.

Kyle Austin helped the Trojans with 10 kills and two aces.

Alexis Parsons, Liz Jerome and Allie Scott had two kills apiece for the Stags.

WINDHAM 3, LAKE REGION 1: Jamie Jannarone had 11 aces and a pair of kills as the Eagles (9-3) defeated the Lakers (3-10) at Windham.

Melanie Aldrich had six aces and four assists, and Paige Pandora added four aces and three kills for Windham.

The Eagles won the first game 25-10, dropped the second 26-24, then took the last two by 25-16 scores.

FALMOUTH 3, YARMOUTH 1: After dropping the first set, 25-9, the Yachtsmen (9-3) rallied to defeat Yarmouth (8-3) at Falmouth.

Lydia Farmer had 12 kills and Victoria Burton added eight as Falmouth took the final three sets 25-16, 25-19, 25-18.

BONNY EAGLE 3, DEERING 0: Katie Champagne had nine kills to lead Bonny Eagle (8-3) over Deering (6-7) in straight sets at Portland, 25-19, 25-13, 25-18.

Kaylee Helmick had two kills and Avery Donovan added three blocks for Deering.
