LEWISTON — Joe Esposito rushed for 240 yards and five touchdowns as Portland manhandled Lewiston on its way to a 65-0 victory in a Class A North football game Saturday night.

Esposito and Nick Archambault each rushed for two touchdowns in the first quarter as Portland (6-0), the only undefeated team in Class A, raced to a 30-0 lead. It was 51-0 at halftime.

Joe Fusco had three sacks to lead a stifling Portland defense and also scored on a 42-yard run. Lewiston (2-4) finished with minus-28 yards of offense and a pair of first downs.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 38, POLAND 21: Ryan Gullikson threw for three touchdowns and also scored a pair of rushing touchdowns to lead the Raiders (3-3) over the Knights (2-4) at Fryeburg.

Caleb Eklund had a pair of touchdown receptions for Fryeburg. Nick L’Heureux-Carland caught one touchdown pass.

L’Heureux-Carland opened the scoring on a 50-yard pass from Gullikson, who added a 9-yard TD run later in the first quarter to extend the lead to 14-0.

The Raiders led 22-7 at halftime and 38-13 going into the fourth quarter.

Patrick Jacques and Gawain Tibbetts each had a rushing touchdown for Poland, and Aaron Paradis returned a kickoff 75 yards for a score.

LEAVITT 20, GREELY 14: Levi Craig scored the tiebreaking touchdown on a 14-yard run in the third quarter, then added a 4-yard TD run early in the fourth as the Hornets (4-2) edged the Rangers (2-4) at Cumberland.

Craig also threw a 25-yard TD pass to Billy Bedard in the first half and rushed for the conversion to give Leavitt an 8-0 lead.

Sam Peck had a 55-yard touchdown run for Greely in the fourth quarter.

DIRIGO 28, TRAIP ACADEMY 8: Riley Robinson rushed for 109 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also threw for 58 yards and a touchdown to lead the Cougars (4-2) past the Rangers (1-4) at Kittery.

Traip’s David Gibson scored on a 27-yard run late in the game and rushed for the conversion.

MCI 41, MEDOMAK VALLEY 0: Greg Vigue threw for 225 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for a touchdown to lead the Huskies (6-0) past the Panthers (4-2) at Waldoboro.

OAK HILL 27, LISBON 18: Dalton Therrien threw two touchdown passes and rushed for a touchdown as the Raiders (6-0) beat the Greyhounds (3-2) in Wales.

MT. BLUE 24, NOKOMIS 14: Zach Meader rushed for two TDs, including a tiebreaking 34-yard run in the fourth quarter as the Cougars (5-1) rallied past the Warriors (0-6) at Newport.
