Hillary Rodham Clinton, appearing Friday morning at a breakfast for Democratic women,  joked about her “long day,” after she was grilled for 11 hours on October 22 by House Republicans.

Clinton says she tried to “rise above partisanships and reach for statesmanship” in her testimony before a Republican-led congressional committee investigating Clinton’s handling of the 2012 deadly attacks in Libya.

She also notes that has “recovered her voice” after the long day of testimony.
