Waynflete and Carrabec will resume their Class C South boys’ soccer quarterfinal Thursday after an error brought a premature end to their game Tuesday.

In a third round of penalty kicks, the entire five kicks should have been given to each team. Instead the game ended after one kick with Waynflete ruled the winner when its player scored and Carrabec’s player did not.

The game will resume at 3 p.m. at Fore River Fields with the remainder of the penalty kicks. Each team has four kicks left.

HALL-DALE 1, TRAIP ACADEMY 0: Josh Berberich scored with 19 seconds remaining in the first half to lift the top-seeded Bulldogs (13-0-2) over the ninth-ranked Rangers (4-10-2) in a Class C South quarterfinal at Farmingdale.

Jordan Gardner set up the goal on a quickly developing play inside the 18-yard line.

CAMDEN HILLS 3, CONY 2: Kienan Brown scored an unassisted goal 23 minutes into the second half to help the third-seeded Windjammers (11-2-2) survive a scare from the sixth-ranked Rams (7-7-1) in a Class A North quarterfinal at Rockport.

MARANACOOK 3, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 0: Sam Wilkinson scored two goals, and top-ranked Maranacook (15-0)limited the eighth-seeded Raiders (7-7-2) to two shots on goal in a Class B South quarterfinal at Readfield.

The Black Bears haven’t lost a game since 2012, when they fell to Falmouth in the regional semifinals. They are 49-0-2 since then.

GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 2, A.R. GOULD 1: A flip throw by John Konczal that deflected off the keeper and into the net early in the second half gave the fourth-seeded Lions (9-5-1) the lead against the fifth-seeded Bears (7-3) in a Class D South quarterfinal at South Portland.

A.R. Gould took the lead midway through the first half when Kamal Haji-Ali scored from Mouhamed Roone. Jeremiah Hammond tied it with 1:30 left in the first half.

Greater Portland Christian will play at top-seeded Buckfield at 2:30 p.m. Friday.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 3, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 2: Brady Darnell collected a pass from Bryce Hayman and placed a shot under the crossbar from 25 yards out five minutes into overtime to lift the fifth-seeded Patriots (10-5-1) over the fourth-ranked Falcons (12-3) in a Class B South quarterfinal at Rumford.

Gray-New Gloucester took a 2-1 lead midway through the second half on goals by Austin Gallant and Ben Rogers. Aleski Pirttijoki tied it with 3:24 left in the second half.

WATERVILLE 4, OCEANSIDE 3: Michael Bolduc scored from Bridger Holly in overtime as the fifth-seeded Purple Panthers (13-2-1), who trailed 3-0 in the first half, beat fourth-ranked Oceanside (10-3-2) in a Class B North quarterfinal at Rockland.
