The Boston Red Sox announced their 2016 spring training schedule on Tuesday, with pitchers and catchers reporting to Fort Myers, Florida on Feb. 18. The exhibition schedule begins Feb. 29.

Tickets to the 17 home exhibition games go on sale Dec. 5, starting at 10 a.m. at JetBlue Park in Fort Myers, at www.redsox.com or by phone (1-877-REDSOX9).

Pitchers and catchers will begin workouts Feb. 19. Full-team workouts begin Feb. 24. There is no admission charge to watch the workouts.

The team stays in Florida until March 31. The Red Red Sox will then play the Blue Jays in two exhibition games in Montreal, April 1-2, before heading to Cleveland for the season opener on April 4.
