AUGUSTA – Maine Gov. Paul LePage and Quebec Premier Philippe Couillard are going to be talking energy this week.

Both are scheduled to speak Friday at the U.S.-Canada Energy Trade Conference in Boston. The theme of the conference is integrating infrastructure in a high-cost region.

The two-day conference is hosted by the New England-Canada Business Council.

Among the items up for discussion at the conference: Potential electricity imports from Canada and proposals for new natural gas pipelines in New England.
