BOSTON —The tubas are descending on Faneuil Hall this Thanksgiving weekend.

Up to 200 tuba players will serenade the crowd with holiday classics outside Boston’s cultural and historic heart on Saturday.

The 2 p.m. event is free and open to the public.

The Boston Tuba Christmas is in its 30th year. Carol Troxell, president of Faneuil Hall Merchant’s Association, says the event always helps make the holidays extra special.

The concert is presented by the Harvey Phillips Foundation.

The Faneuil Hall Marketplace also features Blink!, an evening display of over 350,000 LED lights synchronized to the music of the Holiday Pops, as well as an 85-foot holiday tree.
