SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Levi Randolph opened the second half by losing the ball out of bounds: a sign of things to come for the Maine Red Claws.

The Sioux Falls Skyforce took the lead early in the second half and cruised from there, beating the Red Claws 111-96 in an NBA-DLeague game Saturday night.

Jarnell Stokes followed Randolph’s turnover with a layup and then scored on a putback to give Sioux Falls a lead. Rodney McGruder made two quick 3-pointers and the Skyforce pushed their lead to 65-58.

Maine, which lost its third straight game, falls to 3-4. Sioux City has won four straight to improve to 4-2.

Maine led 58-55 at the half behind 12 points by Omari Johnson and 12 for 21 shooting from 3-point range. The Red Claws, however, managed just three 3-pointers in the second half.

Stokes scored 22 points to lead the Skyforce. DeAndre Liggins added 19 points, while Tre Kelley chipped in 17 and Greg Whittington 16.

Johnson finished with 17 for the Red Claws, while Coty Clarke had 13 and Andre Stringer 12. Jordan Mickey and Randolph each had 11 points.
