The Portland Water District was working Saturday to repair a water main break on Diamond Street between Fox Street and Marginal Way, according to the Portland Fire Department.

The repair work was expected to cause that section of Diamond to remain closed to vehicle traffic until 3 p.m. The break caused minor flooding, and motorists in the area were advised to use caution and expect delays.

No further details were immediately available.
