Fire investigators are trying to determine the cause of a fire that ripped through a vacant house in Lebanon early Monday morning.
The structure fire began just before 6 a.m. on the Carl Broggi Highway (Route 202) near Robertson’s Auto, according to Lebanon Fire and EMS. Fire Chief Dan Meehan said the home was vacant and for sale, but the structure was fully involved with flames from the basement to attic when crews arrived.
The fire was extinguished by 10 a.m.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office has been called in to investigate.
The Carl Broggi Highway was reduced to one lane while crews worked in the area.
