SANTA CRUZ, Calif. — David Stockton’s attempted alley-oop pass went in the basket to give Reno a one-point lead with 41 seconds left, and the Bighorns beat the Maine Red Claws 123-121 in the NBA D-League Showcase on Sunday evening.

Stockton extended the lead to 119-116 with a turnaround jumper after a miss by Maine’s Terry Rozier. After Rozier made a pair of foul shots, Stockton made two free throws of his own. Rozier hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer.

Green finished with 29 points. Vincent Hunter had 20 points and 18 rebounds.

Rozier led Maine with 29 points, seven rebounds and eight assists. Jordan Mickey (18 points, 14 rebounds) and Coty Clarke (19, 10) each had a double-double for Maine, which plays Canton in Portland on Friday and Saturday.
