YORK — Lily Posternak and Shannon Todd combined to go 8 of 9 from the foul line down the stretch Friday night, and York held on for a 50-43 victory against Gray-New Gloucester in a Western Maine Conference schoolgirl basketball game.

York (14-0) led 34-30 heading to the fourth quarter.

Todd led the Wildcats with 18 points. Chloe Smedley had 12 points and Posternak chipped in with nine.

Alanna Camerl and Skye Conley each had nine points to lead Gray-New Gloucester (10-4). Grace Kariotis tossed in eight.

BRUNSWICK 58, BIDDEFORD 41: Madeline Suhr had 13 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists to lead the Dragons (9-4) past the Tigers (2-11) at Biddeford.

Sabrina Armstrong scored a game-high 19 points to go with five rebounds for Brunswick, which used a 24-12 advantage in the second quarter to open a 38-17 halftime lead.

Brittany Roy led Biddeford with 15 points. Grace Martin added 12.

CHEVERUS 44, THORNTON ACADEMY 40: Abby Cavallaro made four 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 20 points for the Stags (9-6), who used a 10-5 fourth-quarter run to beat the Trojans (9-5) at Saco.

Emme Poulin added 14 points, including four 3-pointers, for the Stags, who trailed 35-34 going into the fourth quarter.

Ashley Howe scored 15 points and Alexandra Hart had 12 for Thornton.

BONNY EAGLE 61, NOBLE 21: Lauryn Fagan scored 13 points for the Scots (6-8), who took a 29-12 halftime lead and downed the Knights (0-14) at Standish.

Natalie Bushey had nine points for Bonny Eagle. Samantha Averill, Mackenzie Emery and Mia Farrante each chipped in eight.

Taylor Mallett led Noble with eight points.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 37, FALMOUTH 27: Julia Quinn hit a 3-pointer at the halftime buzzer to give the Raiders (12-2) a 20-14 lead on the way to defeating the Yachtsmen (5-8) at Falmouth.

Quinn finished with a game-high 16 points. Alexis L’Heureux-Carland tossed in seven points for Fryeburg.

Abigail Ryan led Falmouth with 13 points, including four 3-pointers.

CAPE ELIZABETH 45, YARMOUTH 41: Madeleine Bowe scored a game-high 22 points, including four foul shots down the stretch, as the Capers (5-9) held off the Clippers (7-7) at Cape Elizabeth.

Carter Harvey added 10 points and Kelly O’Sullivan pulled down 10 rebounds for Cape Elizabeth.

Jessica Kirk scored 14 points and Alison Clark added 11 for the Clippers.

GREELY 83, MARSHWOOD 42: Anna DeWolfe scored 34 points as the Rangers (11-3) cruised past the Hawks (6-7) at Cumberland.

Isabel Porter had 22 points, including six 3-pointers, for Greely. Moira Train added eight points.

Kathleen Locke led Marshwood with 16 points.

DIRIGO 56, ST. DOMINIC 40: Lauren Henderson scored 17 points, and Emma Leuders collected 14 points, 14 rebounds and nine assists to lead the Cougars (9-5) over the Saints (6-8) at Auburn.

Chloe Dwinell scored 11 points and Abby Castonguay added 10 for St. Dom’s.

MASSABESIC 58, SCARBOROUGH 57: The Mustangs (3-11) went 12 of 14 from the foul line in the fourth quarter and held off the Red Storm (5-8) at Scarborough.

McKenzy Ouellette paced the Mustangs with 18 points. Massabesic also got 14 points from Madison Drain and 11 from Skylar Renaud.

Scarborough was led by a game-high 30 points from Sophie Glidden, who hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer.

LEAVITT 41, WESTBROOK 34: Sophia Gilbert scored 15 points, and Chantel Eels added 14 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Hornets (7-7) past the Blue Blazes (6-6) at Turner.

Gilbert had seven rebounds for Leavitt, which used a 14-4 run in the third quarter to take a 29-25 lead.

Alisha Aube scored a game-high 16 points for Westbrook.

MEDOMAK VALLEY 52, OCEANSIDE 40: Maggie Cox scored a game-high 18 points to lead the Panthers (5-9) past the Mariners (6-7) at Waldoboro.

Sophie Cohen added 14 points for Medomak, which used an 11-4 run in the third quarter to open a 38-32 lead.

Gabby Simmons led Oceanside with 12 points.

WINSLOW 48, LINCOLN ACADEMY 33: Heather Kervin scored 21 points to lead the Black Raiders (11-3) over the Eagles (12-2) at Winslow.

Delaney Wood added nine points for Winslow, which outscored the Eagles 25-10 in the fourth after a tie game through three quarters.

Brie Wajer had 15 points for the Eagles.

GORHAM 63, SANFORD 37: Mackenzie Holmes and Emily Esposito combined to score 35 points in the first half as the Rams (13-0) raced to a 39-15 lead and cruised past the Spartans (4-10) at Sanford.

Holmes finished with 21 points and Esposito added 20.

Summer Camire led Sanford with 14 points.

FREEPORT 52, KENNEBUNK 46: Regan Lynch and Taylor Rinaldi each scored 12 points to lead the Falcons (8-6) past the Rams (7-7) at Kennebunk.

Jessica Wall added 10 points for Freeport, which led 28-18 at halftime.

OXFORD HILLS 48, GARDINER 45: Jadah Adams scored a game-high 16 points to lift the Vikings (11-3) over the Tigers (10-2) at Gardiner.
