Join the Sebago Lakes chapter of Trout Unlimited’s women’s fly fishers group as they study the Maine fishing law book. They promise to explain it in simple terms. The meeting will be at the King’s Head Pub in Portland.

Otter Pond Fishing, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Standish

Learn the basics of ice fishing from experts. Join the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife and the Portland Water District for a lesson in ice fishing at the Otter Ponds across from Sebago Lake.
