PRESQUE ISLE — The Norwegian team of Lars Helge Birkeland, Erlend Bjoentegaard, Johannes Thingnes Boe and Tarjei Boe won the 4×7.5-kilometer relay on the final day of the World Cup Biathlon on Saturday.

Norway finished in 1:12:09.8 with seven missed targets to beat France, which finished 30.1 seconds behind with two missed targets. Germany was third, Russia was fourth, and the U.S. team of Lowell Bailey, Leif Nordgren, Tim Burke and Sean Doherty was fifth, 48.3 second behind the winners with nine missed targets.

In the women’s 4x6k relay, the Czech Republic team of Eva Puskarcikova, Lucie Charvatova, Gabriela Soukalova and Veronika Vitkova won in 1:07:11.0 with 15 missed targets.

Ukraine was second, 25.2 seconds behind, followed by Germany, Poland and Italy. The U.S. team of Susan Dunklee, Hannah Dreissigacker, Clare Egan and Annelies Cook finished 10th, 2:12.4 out of first with 13 misses.
