A Kennebunk police officer was injured in a traffic accident on Webber Hill Road in Kennebunk, also known as Route 99, Saturday at about 4:55 p.m.
The officer, who has not been identified, was in a cruiser and closing Webber Hill Road when a truck struck the side of the cruiser, WCSH-TV reported.
The officer was taken to Maine Medical Center in Portland with non life threatening injuries. The accident is being investigated.
