A New York firm has purchased Cook’s Corner, a Brunswick shopping center.

The $13.2 million purchase closed last Thursday, said Peter Kenn of Goedecke & Co., which provided financing.

Katz Properties, which is based in New York, bought the shopping center, which is 84 percent occupied.

Katz Properties has holdings in much of the Northeast and the mid-Atlantic and Florida. A call to the company was not immediately returned Wednesday.

Kenn said the shopping center is largely built out, but the new owners may rearrange some of the tenants.

Stores in the shopping center include Sears, Big Lots and Staples, as well as a Regal Cinema, Five Guys Burgers and Fries and Applebee’s, among other stores and restaurants.
