READING, Pa. — Taylor Swift returned to her Pennsylvania hometown over the weekend to serve as maid of honor in her childhood friend’s wedding.
Swift posted photos from Saturday’s festivities in Reading on her Instagram page.
She writes that she met bride Britany Maack when she was 10 days old, and groom Benjamin LaManna when she was in kindergarten. The photos show Swift in a blush pink gown. She calls herself “the happiest maid of honor ever.”
One photo shows Swift and Maack looking at each other with one hand on their hips and the other hoisting their bouquets in the air.
The wedding was less than a week after Swift’s multi-platinum “1989” won a Grammy for album of the year.
