A pharmacist from Glenburn is charged with stealing narcotics from the Skowhegan Wal-Mart pharmacy where she worked, police said.
Adriana Schwendt, 48, allegedly stole the drugs on Feb. 14, and police were called to the store Thursday, according to a news release from the Skowhegan Police Department.
She was arrested and taken to the Somerset County Jail in East Madison.
Schwendt has held a Maine pharmacist’s license since 2007 and was a licensed pharmacy technician before that.
There is no record of any disciplinary action against her, according to the Maine Department of Professional and Financial Regulation.
