Can’t wait for the finale of “Downton Abbey“? The Maine Public Broadcasting Network will host an early screening of the final episode of the upstairs-downstairs drama of the Crawley family and their help on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the State Theatre in Portland, seven hours before the show airs on public television.

Tickets are free but require registration. Doors open at 1 p.m., with the Novel Jazz Trio performing for an hour before the show. The network will also raffle off the silver hand mirror and hairbrush Lady Edith used on the show. Raffle tickets cost $10.

“The ending is really fun,” said Cory Morrissey, the director of marketing and public relations who has watched the last episode of the six-season run but promised that he has told no one what happens. “They wrap things up nicely.”

The network is expecting a crowd, Morrissey said. Past early showings of season premieres have sold out.
