LONDON — Actor Michael Caine, composer Andrew Lloyd Webber and artist Tracey Emin were among guests celebrating the marriage of media mogul Rupert Murdoch and model-actress Jerry Hall on Saturday.

Playwright Tom Stoppard, musician Bob Geldof and former Rolling Stone Bill Wyman were joined by newspaper editors and media executives for a service of celebration at St. Bride’s, the traditional “journalists’ church” in London’s Fleet Street.

Also attending were many of the couple’s 10 children. Murdoch has six children from three previous marriages, while Hall has four with her ex-partner Mick Jagger.

The couple officially tied the knot Friday at Spencer House, an aristocratic palace built by ancestors of the late Princess Diana.

Murdoch, the executive chairman of News Corp., and former supermodel Hall were introduced last year and announced their engagement in January.

This is the fourth marriage for 84-year-old Murdoch, who owns Fox News Channel, movie studio Twenty-First Century Fox, publisher HarperCollins and newspapers in Britain and the United States.

It is the first marriage for Texas-born Hall, 59. She and Jagger had an unofficial private Hindu marriage ceremony in Bali, Indonesia, in 1990. During divorce proceedings in 1999 a British court declared the marriage invalid.
