In the March 1 story “Questions linger about LePage’s endorsement of Trump,” the Portland Press Herald reports that “there is widespread speculation that (New Jersey Gov. Chris) Christie, a longtime friend of (Paul) LePage, played some role in convincing the Maine governor to join him in backing a candidate that many Republicans have described as equal parts con man and demagogue.”

Sounds like a perfectly kindred spirit with Christie and LePage.
