AUBURNDALE, Florida — Brendan Fox hit a two-run triple to spark a three-run rally in the top of the eighth inning as Bates beat Babson 9-6 in a college baseball game Sunday.

Bates (4-5) scored six runs in the top of the fifth after falling behind 3-0.

Fox went 4 for 6 with two doubles, four RBI and two runs scored.

Ryan McCarthy and Joe Dinoto each had a single and a double.

Anthony Telesca picked up the win, allowing three earned runs, while striking out nine and walking six.

STETSON 7, MAINE 6: The Hatters (10-7) scored three runs in the bottom of the eighth to come from behind and beat the Black Bears (4-11) for a sweep pf their three-game series at DeLand, Florida.

Maine scored three times, including a two-run double by Colin Ridley, in the top of the fourth inning, to take a 4-3 lead.

Tyler Schwanz was 2 for 4 with a pair of runs scored, while Ridley had three hits.

NEW MEXICO STATE 7, MAINE 5: The Aggies (20-10) rallied from a 5-0 deficit to beat the Black Bears (3-4) at Clearwater, Florida.

Janelle Bouchard had a two-run double as Maine scored five times in the third.

New Mexico answered with single runs in the fourth and fifth innings, then scored five runs in the top of the sixth, including a two-run homer by Fiana Finau.

Bouchard went 2 for 3 with a run scored, while Kristen Niland was 2 for 3 with a run scored for Maine.

KEENE STATE 4, UNIVERSITY OF NEW ENGLAND 3: Shae Crosby drove in the winning run with a fielder’s choice in the top of the 10th inning as the Owls (2-3) beat the Nor’easters (2-1) in the Dot Richardson Spring Games at Winter Garden, Florida.

Keene State took a 2-1 lead in the eighth on a sacrifice fly by Stephanie Long, but UNE tied it in the bottom of the inning on an RBI triple by Caroline Schoenbucher.

Keene State took the lead again in the ninth, but UNE tied it on a run-scoring double by Andrea Gosper.

AMHERST 5, UNE 3: Kyra Naftel was 4 for 4 with two RBI and two runs scored as the Purple and White defeated the Nor’easters at Winter Garden, Florida.
