Michael Gallant of Biddeford began working at Moody’s Nursery and Garden Center in Saco when he was in high school.
The 21-year-old man is now employed full time as a nursery/greenhouse worker.
“It’s a lot of hard work, working in the greenhouse in the summer where it can reach over 100, and there’s lots of heavy lifting,” he said.
On Saturday, he was transplanting thyme and parsley and giving the seedlings a good drink.
“I thoroughly enjoy working with the owners and other employees here,” Gallant said.
