Conor Doane, Deering sophomore: Returns at No. 1 singles for a Rams squad that went 10-3 and reached the Class A regional quarterfinals. In state singles tournament, reached Round of 48.

Nick Forester, Falmouth freshman: Ambidextrous player reached fourth round of Blakeman tourney. Extended former champion Tyler Adams to three sets.

Matthew Jarmusz, Morse junior: Unbeaten at No. 3 singles (16-0) and earned only point in Morse’s 4-1 loss to Cape Elizabeth in Class B regional final. Advanced to Round of 16 in singles tourney.

Thomas Jarmusz, Morse junior: Went 15-1 at No. 1 singles to help Shipbuilders (13-2) earn top seed in Western Class B. Reached Round of 16 in singles tourney before falling to No. 3 seed.

Alex Klemperer, Falmouth sophomore: Returns at No. 2 singles for two-time defending Class A champion. Reached Round of 32 in singles tourney before falling to No. 8 seed.

Peter Mao, Mt. Ararat sophomore: Returns at No. 2 singles for Class A runner-up Eagles (14-2). Advanced to Round of 16 in state singles tournament before falling to eventual champ Isaac Salas of Waynflete.

Nick Mathieu, Mt. Ararat junior: Two-time finalist in the state singles tournament who went unbeaten in team competition to help the Eagles reach the Class A final for a second year in succession.

Michael Mills, Cape Elizabeth senior: Returns at No. 1 singles for three-time defending Class B state champion. Sixth seed in state singles tournament who fell in three-set quarterfinal match to 11th seed.

Dariy Vykhodtsev, Thornton Academy freshman: Ranked 34th in New England among 16-and-under boys with victories over Mathieu and Forester. Originally from Ukraine, moved to Saco from North Conway, New Hampshire.
