CAPE ELIZABETH — Cape Elizabeth used a seven-run fourth inning to pull away Saturday and score a 15-4 victory against Kennebunk in a five-inning Western Maine Conference softball game.

Kelly O’Sullivan was 4 for 5 with a pair of RBI, Tess Haller went 3 for 3, and Maddie Culkin was 2 for 3 and drove in a pair for Cape Elizabeth (1-1).

Brittney Gregoire had a double, a single and an RBI for Kennebunk (0-2).

BASEBALL

TRAIP ACADEMY 11, BUCKFIELD 0: Alex Foye capped an eight-run fifth inning with a three-run double as the Rangers (1-1) rolled past the Bucks (0-2) at Buckfield.

Foye finished with a pair of hits, drove in four runs and stole three bases, Hunter Sawtelle added an RBI single with two stolen bases and threw out two would-be base stealers.

Jacob Kraske had a double and single for Buckfield.

Shane MacNeil of Traip threw a three-hitter, striking out seven and walking two.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 25, TEMPLE 4: Galen Arnold and Caleb Cutko both drove in three runs to lead the Panthers (2-0) over the Bereans (0-2) in five innings at Yarmouth.

Arnold had two hits, including a triple. Josh Chapman led the Panthers with three hits and Andrew Keith added two.

Connor Dillon picked up the win, striking out three in three innings.

BOYS’ LACROSSE

MARANACOOK/WINTHROP 8, WINSLOW 5: Bailey Stockford and Kyle Morand scored three goals each as Maranacook/Winthrop (3-0) defeated the Black Raiders (0-1) at Waterville.
