A Parsonsfield woman was killed Wednesday on Route 25 in Porter when her car hit a tractor-trailer, whose cab burst into flames, police said.
The head-on crash happened on Ossipee Trail, about a half-mile from the Kezar Falls Bridge, about 12:30 p.m., according to a news release from Stephen McCausland, spokesman for the Maine State Police.
McCausland identified the victim as Donna-Lee Zahn, 50.
The driver of the truck, which was hauling wood chips, was Gary Runnells, 32, of Canaan. He escaped injury.
Traffic was detoured while police investigated the crash.
