Gardiner’s Waterfront Park is the new home of the weekly Classic Cruise-In Night for car enthusiasts.

From 5 to 7 p.m. every Thursday through Sept. 29, the park will host classic cars for the event, which has taken place for 19 years at Ainslie’s Market, according to a news release from event organizers.

Central Maine Meats, the Cruise-In’s top sponsor, will sell and provide samples of their local meat products, and other local food producers will be on hand to highlight the array of locally produced food in central Maine.

Community groups, such as Gardiner’s First Baptist Church, will contribute each week by selling other food items.

Giveaways and door prizes donated from Napa and other local businesses will be handed out each evening.
