I am so happy that little Veto, Gov. LePage’s adopted Jack Russell terrier, went to a family who really wants to love it.

At the Maine Republican Convention in April, the governor and his wife spoke of looking forward to adopting a dog even before they met their new pet.

The lady from Mexico, Maine, who missed out on the chance for Veto was expecting the dog’s sole function to be lifting her from her emotional morass. The woman needs a therapist, not a dog.
