POLAND — Connor Aube hit a grand slam and finished with three hits and four runs scored, and Falmouth stayed unbeaten with a 9-1, five-inning victory over Poland on Wednesday.

Reece Armitage also homered and finished with four RBI and three runs scored for the Yachtsmen, who improved to 9-0.

Robert Armitage added three RBI on three hits.

Caleb Hodgkin and Deryk Belanger had the only two hits for Poland (2-8) off Falmouth pitchers Cam Guarino, Hogan Tracy and Robert Armitage.

YORK 4, WELLS 3: Andrew Rodrigues’ three-run homer capped a four-run fourth inning that rallied the Wildcats (8-2) past Wells (5-3) at York.

Matt Trainor doubled home the first run of the inning.

Shawn Ramsey’s RBI double keyed a three-run third for the Warriors.

KENNEBUNK 4, LAKE REGION 2: Bryan Hickey hit a two-run single in the sixth inning to break a 2-2 tie and lead the Rams (4-5) past the Lakers (0-9) at Kennebunk.

Kennebunk got two runs in the first, when Ryan Coughlan had an RBI single and Derek Smith scored on a balk.

Lake Region responded with two runs in the sixth, helped by an RBI single from Ryan Hodgdon.

Hodgdon had two hits for Lake Region, while Nate Smith pitched a complete game, allowing four runs on seven hits and striking out three.

Derek Smith had two hits and a run scored to lead Kennebunk, while Justin Wiggins picked up his third win of the season allowing two runs on two hits and striking out three.

TRAIP 7, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 4: Trevor Salema had two hits and an RBI, and pitched into the sixth inning to record the win as the Rangers (4-4) beat Old Orchard Beach (6-3) at Kittery.

Shane MacNeill tossed two scoreless innings for a save, and had two hits and a run scored.

Thomas Fregeau doubled and singled for the Seagulls, who also got a double from Dustin Brown.

WINDHAM 4, WESTBROOK 2: Dylan Koza scored twice, and the Eagles (4-5) used four runs in the first two innings to get by visiting Westbrook (2-5).

Tim Greenlaw singled home Koza, and Tyler Johnson scored on Mitchell Eskilson’s sacrifice fly to give Windham a 2-0 lead in the first. Johnson doubled home Blake Houser and Koza came home on an error in the second.

The Blue Blazes got RBI singles from Bailey Sawyer and Nick Batchelder in the fourth.

FREEPORT 7, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 2: Jack Davenport and Josh Burke each hit a two-run double with two outs in the third inning, and the Falcons (4-5) rallied past the Patriots (2-8) at Freeport.

Davenport was also the winning pitcher, giving up two unearned runs on four hits while striking out nine and walking none in six innings.

Jake Winchester had two hits for the Patriots, who opened the scoring with two runs in the top of the second inning.

LACROSSE

BIDDEFORD 14, MARSHWOOD 8: Gavon Power scored five goals to pace the Tigers (3-5) as they downed the Hawks (0-6) at South Berwick.

Cody Sevigny and John Gilliam added three goals apiece for the Tigers.

Jake Lindsay led the Hawks with three goals. Henry Honkonen scored twice.

Marshwood keeper Alex Bonin made 13 saves.

SOUTH PORTLAND 14, WESTBROOK 8: Cooper Mehlhorn had nine goals and one assist to lead the Red Riots (3-3) over the Blue Blazes (4-2) in Westbrook.

Jack Fiorini added four goals and two assists for South Portland, and Quinn Watson stopped 11 shots. Grayson Post scored three goals and John Tibbetts added two for Westbrook. Alex LeBlanc had eight saves.
