A fire destroyed a home in Wilton early Saturday, WCSH-TV reported.
The Wilton fire chief told the station that the home on Route 2 was already fully engulfed in flames when fire crews arrived at 3 a.m. And, he said, because there are no fire hydrants in the neighborhood, water had to be shuttled in with tanker trucks.
No one was hurt in the fire and the cause is under investigation, the station reported.
