Bird Photography, 7 p.m. in Wells

Join York County Audubon as photographer Michael Milicia presents a selection of bird images with commentary to inform, entertain and inspire. Milicia will demonstrate the importance of head angle, catch lights, in-camera composition, knowing your subject and being proactive in the field. Free and open to all. Merrymeeting Bay Day, 11 a.m., May 22, in Bath

The Maine Maritime Museum is hosting a celebration of the Merrymeeting Bay ecosystem, one of only four places in the world where two major rivers with separate watersheds converge to form a common delta.
