NEW HIRES
Fluid Imaging Technologies expanded its team with four new hires.
Frances Buerkens joined as a sales manager for aquatic markets. Buerkens will work to promote and sell the FlowCam in algae technology markets.
Kay Johnson joined as a technical customer support associate. Johnson will be responsible for direct customer support related to the operation of the FlowCam imaging particle analysis instrument and its VisualSpreadSheet software.
Dave Hamel joined as director of sales, bio/pharma markets. Hamel will develop sales strategies and sell the FlowCam to customers and prospects within the biopharmaceutical market. Hamel is based in Boston, Mass.
Steve Northup was hired as a software engineer. He will participate in the design of Fluid Imaging Technologies’ software products, as well as identifying and developing cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.

Sebago Technics added four new design professionals.
739336 rebecca_gabryszewskiRebecca Gabryszewski, of Biddeford, and Emmerald “Emmy” Irvin, of Portland, joined as permitting specialist/project coordinators. Gabryszewski has more than 20 years of experience in land development consulting. Irvin worked this past year with Sebago Technics as an intern.

 

Caleb Gervais, of Augusta, joined as a survey technician. He interned with Sebago Technics last summer in the survey group and spent most of his time on the MDOT crew.
Matthew McGuirk joined as a civil engineer. He recently graduated from the University of Maine with a degree in civil and environmental engineering. He grew up in Biddeford and interned with a geotechnical firm.

Casco Systems announced new hires in its Portland, Waterville and Idaho offices.
