SANFORD — The Sanford Mainers scored four unanswered runs in the bottom of the seventh inning Tuesday night to come from behind and beat the Valley Blue Sox 5-4 in a New England Collegiate Baseball League game at Goodall Park in Sanford.

The Mainers scored in the first inning as Todd Czinege singled to score Cameron Krowiak, but the Blue Sox answered with a pair of runs in the top of the second on Kipp Moore’s two-run homer.

Valley (6-4) added a pair of runs in the top of the fourth inning to take a 4-2 lead.

Sanford (6-5) began its seventh-inning rally with a single from Krowiak, his second hit of the game. Nelson Mompierre and Czinege followed with back-to-back RBI doubles.

Czinege went 2 for 5 with three RBI for the Mainers.

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 5, NEW HAMPSHIRE 1: Cody Allen hit an RBI double for the Surge (10-5) as they scored five runs in the first two innings and cruised to a win over the Wild (5-14) in Rindge, New Hampshire.

The Surge scored two runs in the top of the first on an error and a fielder’s choice by Jordyn Van Atta.

In the top of the second the Surge got one RBI apiece from Allen, Jacob Fabry and Luc Pomales.

Reliever Cody Frank gave up one run and struck out five over five innings to earn the win.

AMERICAN LEGION

COASTAL LANDSCAPE 9, ANDREWS POST 7: Alex Jacobs went 3 for 4, including a double, with a pair of RBI as Coastal Landscape built a 7-2 lead and held on to defeat Andrews Post in a Zone 3 game at Deering Oaks.

LIBBY-MITCHELL 7, SEBAGO LAKERS 3: Tim Carion hit an RBI single during a three-run sixth inning and finished with a pair of runs scored to lead Libby-Mitchell (2-1) to a Zone 3 win at Scarborough.

SACO-BIDDEFORD SAVINGS 6, MASSABESIC 0: Brady Crepeau threw a complete game two-hitter, fanning six and walking none as Saco-Biddeford Savings shut out Massabesic in a Zone 4 matchup at St. Louis Field in Biddeford.

Crepeau was 2 for 3 with a pair of RBI and scored a pair of runs, stealing three bases for Saco-Biddeford (4-1). Joey Curit had an RBI triple in the three-run sixth inning when Saco-Biddeford pulled away.

YANKEE FORD 9, SUMMIT NATURAL GAS 8: Drew Abramson drove in the winning run with an RBI double in the bottom of the sixth inning as Yankee Ford (2-0) held on to edge Summit Natural Gas (0-4) in a Zone 3 game in South Portland.

Yankee Ford fell behind 4-0 in the top of the first, but responded with three runs in the bottom of the inning on a two-run triple by Dylan Roberts, who also scored a run.

Yankee Ford took the lead for good on a two-run triple by Ben Conti during a three-run fifth inning.

JUNIOR LEGION

YARMOUTH 6, CAPE ELIZABETH 2: Yarmouth (3-1) scored three runs in the bottom of the second inning, highlighted by a two-run single from Tyler Waaler, and pulled away from Cape Elizabeth at Yarmouth.

Joe Coyne had an RBI triple in the sixth and Reese Hall drove him in with a single as Yarmouth added a pair of runs in the bottom of the sixth.

Valentin Murphy had a double and single for Cape Elizabeth (2-2), and Jack Glanville and Aiden Knowles each added a pair of hits.

BRUNO’S 11, FAYETTE-STAPLES 2: Dominic Tocci lined a single to start a four-run rally in the first inning as Bruno’s (3-2) handled Fayette-Staples (1-4) at Saco.

Tocci and Nathan Loranger each had two for Bruno’s.
