It must be difficult today to be a Republican and watch your presumptive presidential nominee embarrass the party again and again.
One of his recent outrageous statements is that the next time he talks to the National Rifle Association, he’s going to talk to them about changing the gun laws.
Here is a man who is representing the Republican Party, and he thinks that the NRA makes laws.
Maybe Speaker Paul Ryan or one of the other party leaders should put Donald Trump back into Civics 101 and explain to him that Congress makes laws, not private advocacy groups.
Or maybe, once again, Mr. Trump is telling it like it is.
