The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency is investigating two suspected labs manufacturing methamphetamine, in the towns of Hancock and Patten.

The MDEA discovered the lab in Hancock early Wednesday morning, and Maine State Police discovered the suspected lab in Patten a few hours later. Evidence from both labs will be seized in what the MDEA says is their 80th response to a suspected meth lab this year so far.

By contrast, the MDEA responded to 56 suspected meth labs and dumping sites in 2015.
