The southbound lanes on the Maine Turnpike at mile 27 have reopened after a vehicle fire was reported Monday morning around 10:30 a.m.

The right lane had been closed for several hours and drivers were warned to expect delays while emergency crews and state police worked to clear the accident.

The vehicle fire occurred between Exit 32 in Biddeford and Exit 25 in Kennebunk.
